The Rochester Beacon features Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival.

Proving that RIT students are stars not only inside the classroom but on the stage as well, President David Munson will emcee his second performing arts competition next Friday night on the eve of the Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival.

WITR-FM (89.7) presents Ask Munson, featuring RIT’s president taking listener questions live at 2:30 p.m. April 17.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy features Transforming RIT: The Campaign for Greatness.

More than 100 RIT students were honored Thursday as Outstanding Undergraduate Scholars. The students were also able to invite the high school or community college teacher that made the most impact on their education.

Housing, tuition and mental health services were just some of the topics RIT President David Munson addressed in an “Ask Munson Anything” session Monday on Reddit.

The Rochester skyline was lit Tiger orange Saturday night as part of RIT’s annual Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend. More than 15,800 members of the RIT community came out Oct. 19-21 for 125 homecoming events, including celebrating 50 years since the move from downtown Rochester to Henrietta.

A 2009 alumnus has given RIT $50 million, the largest donation ever made to the university and one of the largest ever in the region. The unprecedented gift comes from Austin McChord, founder and CEO of Datto, a Connecticut-based data protection company.
