Book Animation Project
RIT Graphic Design students collaborated with local first-graders at Council Rock Primary School, taught by Sue Beato, in fall 2020 to bring short stories they wrote to life. The graphic designers took the young authors’ interpretations of the book If Your Monster Won't Go to Bed by Denise Vega and made motion graphics out of them. The children came up with six adjectives that shaped their own stories of how they would put their monster to bed. The book animation project was for Assistant Professor Keli DiRisio's Interactive Design III class. Above video by Ethan Constant.
