Join Mario Gomes, the Fellow in Engineering and a CTL Instructional Designer/Technologist at this informal drop-in session. During this session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Receive personalized assistance with syllabus design, course materials, and learning management systems.
  • Get help with technical issues and teaching tools.
  • Share resources and best practices with fellow faculty members.
  • Gain insights on creating engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Discuss pedagogical strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Have your questions answered on the spot.
  • Or simply use the time and space to get your course ready for the Spring.

Gradescope: A tool that can speed up grading

Gradescope allows instructors to be more efficient when grading handwritten activities such as worksheets, quizzes, and tests with partial credit. Gradescope does this by helping to bucket similar responses together, allowing instructors to consistently apply the same points and feedback for similar submissions.

This session is an introduction to Gradescope, focusing on getting started and using Gradescope with myCourses.
