RIT partners with industry experts on new curriculum in electronics design and manufacturing
EMA Design Automation, Cadence Design Systems Inc., and RIT are collaborating to provide college-level printed circuit board (PCB) design courses for students in RIT’s College of Engineering Technology. Taught both online and in-person by PCB design industry experts, the courses can provide engineers with training and development opportunities in key areas of electronics design and manufacturing.

One highlight of the RIT-Rochester Prep High School Partnership is the annual capstone showcase that spotlights student-professor collaborations. Their diverse projects in photojournalism, antibiotic resistance, 3D printing and fabrication, and chemical engineering gave the students experience on a college campus and the confidence of completing undergraduate-level material.

Garth Fagan Dance partnership opens with a spirited first act
RIT students are already benefitting from a new partnership with Garth Fagan Dance. RIT Performing Arts Scholars Program students are taking master classes and students are working on a semester-long arts management capstone project to deliver suggestions for the internationally known dance company to potentially implement.
