RIT continually works to improve and enhance the university experience for our students. Through student clubs and organizations, unique classes and programs, a comprehensive wellness program, and university-led initiatives, students have plenty of opportunities to express themselves, make lifelong connections, and do extraordinary things.

    New programs help students with autism gain confidence, employment

    Two new programs at RIT are helping students with autism prepare for interviews and land jobs. Eight students recently completed a three-week Career Ready Boot Camp, and RIT’s Neurodiverse Hiring Initiative has helped dozens of students network and find co-op work.

    RIT students and parents ‘Explore Croatia’

    Six students and eight parents spent a week at the end of May in Croatia for “Explore Croatia,” a program sponsored by RIT’s Parent and Family Programs that provided non-credit study-abroad experience. It was the first time a trip was planned for students as well as their parents.
