    Student Spotlight: Park design chosen for KaBOOM! grant

    Meet Madison Miller, Jim Chen and Stefani Schultz, third-year interior design students who designed a play area for the Sojourner Home at Wilson Commencement Park in Rochester. The project received a $63,000 grant to make the students’ design a reality.

    Tours and hands-on experiences were the order of the day as RIT formally opened the newest building on campus—the 52,000-square-foot MAGIC Spell Studios. The RIT community is invited to an open house until 3 p.m. today.

    RIT celebrates past and future of ‘Brick City’

    The Rochester skyline was lit Tiger orange Saturday night as part of RIT’s annual Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend. More than 15,800 members of the RIT community came out Oct. 19-21 for 125 homecoming events, including celebrating 50 years since the move from downtown Rochester to Henrietta.
