Sales Tax Exemption
Tax Exemption Certificates
Maximizing RIT’s sales tax exemption is a smart way to stretch your budget and save your department or RIT from unnecessary expenses. Therefore, the Controller’s Office staff in Student Financial Services, Accounts Payable, and Accounting departments will not reimburse employees for sales tax payments if the exemption could have been used.
For more details, please refer to RIT’s Travel Policies & Procedures regarding the sales tax exemption.
