15th Career Education Day took place in Dubrovnik

RIT Croatia organized the 15th Career Education Day in Dubrovnik, on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Importanne Resort, Princess Royal Hotel.
Career Education Day is an annual event that gathers RIT Croatia students and company representatives from Croatia and the region. This event is an integral part of our educational system, being that RIT Croatia is focused on offering students real business opportunities from their first year onwards, as well as preparing them for challenges associated with the job market upon their graduation.

An interesting fact about the hands-on work experience of our students is that if we combine all co-ops from all of our graduates and current students in the past 18 years, we come to an impressive number of more than 300 years of co-op done at RIT Croatia, in over 3,000 companies from all over the world!

This year Career Education Day gathered around 300 students and company representatives, and the dynamic day of company presentations and interviews began with and interesting key note speaker, Mr. Bojan Poljičak, Director and Country Manager of Adecco d.o.o.
Mr. Poljičak gave his insights into the current job market and shared key elements for successful career development, with a special emphasis on generational differences when it comes to job seeking and career development.

The companies that participated in our Career Education Day 2015 include the following: CARNet, Dubrovnik Riviera Hotels, EX-ALTO, Hotel Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik, Karisma Hotels Adriatic, Hotel Regent Porto Montenegro, Importanne Resort, Libertas Rixos Dubrovnik, Maistra d.d., PHOBS, Porto Montenegro, Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Support Service Group, Valamar and Zagrebačka banka.
