Alum Vedran Perojević to Hold a Lecture on the Topic Building Business on Two Continents - Cultural Perspective

Career Service office invites you to attend the lecture that will be held on Wednesday, September 27th at 9:30 and at 10:30 at the Azur Bar in Kunićeva 5 street in the Old Town. The topic of Mr. Perojević's lecture will be "Building Business on Two Continents- Cultural Perspective".

The Host and Guest Speaker is Mr. Vedran Perojević, Owner and Head Chef of Azur Vision, a company that owns and runs restaurant and bar in Dubrovnik and in Zhuhai, China. Vedran is RIT Croatia Alum, and his success story dates back to his student days.

In 2002 Vedran got an internship at the famous Yasmin's, a 4 star-diamond AAA restaurant at The Orchards Hotel, Williamstown, MA, USA. This was when he decided to become professional chef full time. He moved to China in 2005 and worked in different places picking up Asian cooking techniques, and finally opened his first restaurant Azur, Zhuhai, in the Guangdong province in China. 3 years later, he decided to open another restaurant in Dubrovnik which was named Azur Dubrovnik where he decided to follow his own path.

Students taking the Heritage and Tourism course do not have to sign up for the lecture, as it is a mandatory part of their course, and all other students can sign up at the reception desk. Please note that for each lecture there is only 10 spots available.
