"Alumni Global Day of Service" took place in Split and in Zagreb on September 17th, 2016. This was a volunteer based where our Alumni worked on collecting and sorting donations, such as imperishable food items and hygienic supplies, for Udruga MoST, at the address Gundulićeva 22, Split. This initiative is a joint effort between the RIT Alumni Association and our alumni chapters around the world with the goal of bonding together and making a difference in our communities through service projects. Following this volunteering event, all Alumni had a chance to socialize at the Alumni Get Together event that took place in Paradox bar. We would like to take this opportunity to extend special thanks to lovely people from Udruga MoST; we wish them best of luck in their future work and we hope to collaborate on some projects in the future. Special thanks go to all our Alumni, their family members and friends, as well as all of our business partners who donated for this specific action that will help 360 families from the Split region who are users of Social market SolidarnoST.

The event in Zagreb was equally successful, and more than 30 volunteers gathered at the Children home A.G.Matos to help refurnish the children's home. Volunteers were painting the window frames, children ate pizza, and our IT students showed them how to fly a dron.

Overall, it was a very nice event full of fun, laughter and kids really enjoyed having us in their home, many of them asked when we can be back again.
