Under the slogan "Building the Quality World Together", IHSM students organized a World Quality Day celebration at Dubrovnik Campus on Thursday, November 12 and it was a great success!

As a part of the Assesment of Service Quality course, students prepared an interesting program starting with a Slavonian breakfast, which was organized for a good cause. Students managed to raise 3,000 kn, which will be donated to 21-year old Marija Ristić from Strošinci, a small village near Gunja in Slavonia. Marija's family is one of many whose house was damaged during the big floods and our students foud out about her specific story from a fire fighter, Mr. Pero Miladin from Konavle.

"Celebration of World Quality Day is a long lasting tradition at our college. Every year we do different activities and they are always successfully created and implemented by our students. I am extremely proud of the fact that students managed to incorporate helping others into this year's event," said Milena Kužnin, who is teaching the course Assesment of Service Quality as a part of RIT Croatia's International Hospitality and Service Management program.

In addition to the Slavonian breakfast organized for a good cause, other activities took place to celebrate the World Quality Day. Students had the opportunity to join the Scavenger Quality Hunt where they looked for hidden quality related items and they could participate in the Tower Building Comeptition. Professors Besim Agušaj and Kevin Walker led their teams throught this game and the purpose of the competition was to emphasize the importance of team spirit and communication skills in our everyday lives.
