Dean Hudspeth Participated at the Adria Hotel Forum 2014

Dean Hudspeth Participated at the final panel discussion of this year's Adria Hotel Forum. The goal behind the AHF 2014 was to foster communication on the investments and innovation possibilities regarding the hotel industry in Croatia. This year's Forum gathered over 250 participants and hotel industry experts. The panelists discussed innovation in services and this is what Dean Hudspeth said about it: "In today's world of advanced technology and continuous changes, innovation is key to successful business. In order to enable continuous innovation in any business field, including the service market, we need to start with the education. Innovation is a very important part of the education promoted and delivered by RIT Croatia. Saying that I am not thinking only of our well known cooperative education program, but also of the innovative teaching methods. We provide our students with stimulating and challenging environment via interactive programs of study. We teach students to see the broader picture and think critically, and not to just memorize facts. In other words, we teach them to think in innovative ways. The quality of education programs needs to be evaluated by how well we teach and encourage our students - future experts - to act and think in creative and innovative ways. Only creative and innovative experts can contribute to strengthening the Croatian competitiveness."
