Dr. Irena Guszak Cerovečki attended the Research Seminar at the University of Rijeka Faculty of Economics

On January 19th, 2017, dr. Irena Guszak Cerovečki was a guest at the Research Seminar at the University of Rijeka Faculty of Economics. Irena was invited to present her paper'Food Deserts' in Urban Districts: Evidence from a Transitional Market and Implications for Macromarketing, that was published in the Journal of Macromarketing in the Fall of 2016. Supported by the co-author, dr. Marko Grünhagen, Irena told the story of how the idea developed, what was needed to reach thepointof the publication and the major challenges on that path, and presented the paper itself. The audience that was dominated by students of various levels of undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and even potential students, liked the presentation. According to one colleague, it was "really amazing, deeply inspiring and future oriented lecture.
