Dubrovnik campus hosted yet another successful International Dinner

First week of spring marked another interested (and yummy) event at our Dubrovnik campus - the traditional International Dinner, organized by our students with the purpose of promoting the multicultural experience at RIT Croatia. This year's event gathered more than 50 students presenting and tasting various dishes from countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria and Russia. Of course, the event included the competitive part and students chose the most original dish and the best dish. The winners are:

  • Most original dish: Borscht, prepared by Roko Nikolić (Russian dish)
  • Best dish: Churros, prepared by Matea Papac, Ivona Šoša, Dorotea Haligonja and Marija Lovrić (Spanish dish)

International Dinner is one of our favorite social gatherings. When we started with this event, our primary goal was to help our students to find out more about the culture and customs of different countries and have fun in doing so. In the past years, we had the pleasure to taste some excellent French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian dishes, and also some other exquisite dishes from all over the world. This event is an important part of foreign language education and it helps students understand and enjoy more about the cultures of the language that they are studying.
