Final countdown until the beginning of EAM-I Managing in a Global Economy XVII conference in Dubrovnik

We are excited to announce that 2019 EAM-I Managing in a Global Economy XVII conference, in the organization of Eastern Academy of Management International (EAM-I) and RIT Croatia will take place from June 16-20, 2019 in Dubrovnik.

The conference is designed to foster an international exchange of management research and practice among scholars and managers from around the world. The conference theme, "Managing in Multicultural Environments," was chosen recognizing the importance of ever-increasing complexities of managing organizations both within themselves and between one another. Close to 130 scholars from 23 countries across six continents have contributed and are gathered to participate in this dialogue with each other.

The working part of the conference will be opened with an interesting key note address on the topic "Challenges Facing Dubrovnik Tourism", held by Mr. Mato Franković, the Mayor of Dubrovnik and RIT Croatia Alum. The key note address will take place on Monday, June 17 at 8:30 am in Hotel Hilton Imperial.

Besides the series of plenary sessions that will take place at RIT Croatia premises during the conference, we would also like to stress out another interesting key note address on the topic "Where to Win in the Digital Economy?" held by Mr. Dragan Mrkajić, Executive Director for Strategy for Fortenova Group. The session will take place on Wednesday, June 19, at 9:00 am in Hotel Hilton Imperial.

Immediately following this key note, there will be a panel discussion on the topic "Translating Business from Global to Local" with the following panelists:

The panel is designed to introduce the audience to the firsthand experiences and feedback from industry experts about the local economy impact on global economy and vice versa.
