Guest lecture by professor Simonetta Mossa at the Beginner Italian class

On September 24, professor Simonetta Mossa from Italy was cordially invited by Ms. Zrinka Friganović Sain, RIT Croatia Faculty member, as a guest speaker during Beginning and Intermediate Italian classes in Dubrovnik.

Professor Mossa has more than 35 years of experience in teaching Italian and Latin language in High Schools in Italy and Switzerland. When asked what she likes most about her job, she answered: "I like to see my students not only learning something new, but also learning how to DO something new with the knowledge they have acquired.

Professor Mossa delivered a lecture on the changes in the Italian society in the 20th century in the area of communication and food entitled "Come eravamo e cosa mangiavamo". Intermediate Italian students had an opportunity to use their Italian with a native speaker and, also, to speak about Italian culture and habits. Beginning Italian students had an opportunity to introduce themselves and practice basic vocabulary of introductions and presentations.
