IHSM students participated in Careers@Hilton event

Following the RITz Gala event organized in cooperation with HotelHilton Imperial to celebrate 20th anniversary of RIT Croatia, the Student'sExecutive Board who designed and managed the event, was invited back in Hilton for another opportunity to work and learn. This time it was forCareers@Hilton event which is a part of Hilton's Opening Doors initiative aimingto connect, prepare and employ 1 million young people worldwide by 2019. Our students - future managers performed job shadowing at Hilton's respective departments and participated in allworkactivities.

"What a great experience! Today I was able to see what is behind a great service at Hilton Dubrovnik. I was working with Mr. Matić, Front Office and Honors Manager and learned a lot of things about this challenging and dynamic job. I appreciate this opportunity and I am sure that it will help me in my future career", said Ana Maria Trojić, junior year student of the international Hospitality and Service management program.

Overall, this was an amazing experience with long-lasting learning outcomes, and RIT Croatia is looking forward to work side by side with Hilton in future projects as well.
