INTERNATIONAL DINNER AT BOTH CAMPUSES WAS A GREAT SUCCESS

International Dinner is a traditional event organized by foreign language students during which they demonstrate their 'competences' in cooking and preparing tasteful meals typical for different cultural environments. It is one of students' favorite social gathering through which they promote multicultural experience and multicultural understanding. This year the International Dinner in Zagreb took place on march 30, whereas the International Dinner in Dubrovnik took place on April 6. "When we started with this event, our primary goal was to help our students to find out more about the culture and customs of different countries and have fun in doing so. In the past years, we had the pleasure to taste some excellent French, German, Italian and Spanish dishes, and also some other exquisite dishes from all over the world", said prof. Nikolina Božinović.

It is a custom to vote for best dishes at every International Dinner, and that was the case this year as well.

Zagreb campus had 39 dishes to choose from, and the votes went to:
Most original dish:Paella prepared by Marko Andrijašević, Matija Vujanić and Damir Anić (Spanish dish)
Best dish: Churrosprepared by Omer Cero, Denis Medak, Ana Klaić (Spanish dish)

Dubrovnik campus had 15 dshes to choose from and the vtets were as follows:

Most original dish: Enchiladas prepared by Marko Baričević and Dživo Jelić (Spanish dish)

Best dish: Quesadillas, Tortillas, Churros prepared by Ivona Šoša, Marija Lovrić, Matea Papac and Dorotea Haligonja (Spanish dish) April 13^th Dbk campus
