International Dinner is a traditional event organized by RIT Croatia students at both campuses, during which they demonstrate their competences in cooking and preparing tasteful meals typical for different cultural environments. It is one of the favorite social gatherings at RIT Croatia through which we promote multicultural experience and multicultural understanding. When our foreign language professors started with this event, their primary goal was to help our students to find out more about the culture and customs of different countries and to have fun in doing so. In the past 15 years, students had the pleasure to taste some excellent French, German, Italian and Spanish dishes, and also some other exquisite dishes from all over the world. This event is an important part of foreign language education and it helps students understand and enjoy more about the cultures of the language that they are studying.
This year our students made 32 dishes at the Dubrovnik campus and 47 dishes at the Zagreb campus and they voted for their best dish and the most original dish.
