Prof. Elizabeth Lawley held a Guest Lecture on Interactive Games and Media

The 4th IT guest lecture at the Dubrovnik campus was held on Monday, October 23rd . Our guest speaker was prof. Elizabeth Lawley, professor in the Interactive Games & Media department at RIT in Rochester, NY, where she also founded and serves as director for the Lab for Social Computing in the MAGIC (Media, Art, Games, Interaction, and Creativity) Center. Prof. Lawley shared her insight into interactive games and media with interested students of the Web and Mobile Computing program.

During the spring semester of 2015, prof. Lawley was a Fulbright Scholar in Dubrovnik, developing new classes in Games and Tourism. Her current teaching and research interests focus on games and tourism, social computing technologies (including collaborative information creation and retrieval), and social aspects of game design and play.
