Professor Kevin Walker attended the 35th EuroCHRIE conference in Nairobi, Kenya

Professor Kevin Walker from the Hospitality and Tourism Management program at the Dubrovnik campus, traveled to Nairobi, Kenya to attend the 35thEuroCHRIE 2017conference, taking place from October 23-25. Nairobi based Strathmore University teamed with partners Saxion University of Applied Sciences and University College of Northern Denmark to deliver the first EuroCHRIE to be held in Africa. In keeping with the conference's theme, "Reach the unreached - touch the untouched", the conference exposed participants to many of the wonders and mysteries of African tourism and tourism in general. "Providing attendees with the opportunity to experience African hospitality and tourism firsthand and to become acquainted with the most recent research efforts in hospitality and tourism, EuroCHRIE 2017 truly allowed us to "Reach the unreached - touch the untouched"", said professor Walker upon returning to Dubrovnik campus.
