Professor Tolić attended the international Breaking the Surface 2017 workshop

Professor Domagoj Tolić attended Breaking The Surface 2017 from October 3 until October 5, 2017 in Biograd na Moru. Breaking the Surface is international and interdisciplinary field workshop of maritime robotics and applications. Besides renewing existing contacts and collaborations as well as establishing new ones, his visit was also a part of the MORUS consortium meeting. Namely, Domagoj is a researcher on the project named Unmanned System for Maritime Security and Environmental Monitoring (MORUS), which is a project sponsored by NATO's Emerging Security Challenges Division in the framework of the Science for Peace and Security Programme as Multi Year Project under G. A. number 984807 (https://www.fer.unizg.hr/morus). This consortium meeting was related to the upcoming experimental trials that will be held this November in the army facilities in Udbina, Croatia. The principal benefit of the BTS workshops is their relatively small size and rather informal atmosphere, which allows one to meet any workshop participant regardless of their status and importance in the robotics. Consequently, a number of new unforeseen and exciting collaborations are established every year.
