Recognizing industry partners at the 20th Career Education Day in Dubrovnik

Representatives from 30 companies from Croatia and the region, students and professors attended the 20^th Career Education Day in Dubrovnik, taking place on February 26, 2020 in Hotel Dubrovnik Palace.

This year the main topic was "Growing Entrepreneurial Mindset", and students had the opportunity to take part in series of interesting panel discussions, workshops and presentations. Additionally, students used this opportunity to apply for job interviews with company representatives.

While marking the important 20^th anniversary, Donald W Hudspeth, RIT Croatia's president and dean, remembered the first Career Education Day which was in fact the first one in the whole region back in the year 2001, and he thanked all company representatives for their continuous support. Special recognition were awarded to industry partners in the following categories:

"WHO SAID YES TO OUR FIRST CAREER EDUCATION DAY" - recognition for the industry partner who took part in RIT Croatia's first Career Education Day in 2001.

Recognition awarded to: Hrvatski Telekom d.d. and Maistra Hospitality Group

"INDUSTRY TEACHER" - recognition for the industry partner who is actively involved in organizing various forms of additional educational opportunities for our students (workshops, guest lectures, competitions, etc.)

Recognition awarded to: Dubrovnik Development Agency (DURA)

"FREQUENT FLYER AT CAREER EDUCATION DAY" - recognition for the industry partner who regularly takes part in Career Education Day at RIT Croatia

Recognition awarded to: Valamar Riviera d.d., Le Meridien Lav Split and PHOBS
