RIT CROATIA DEPOSITED THE MAGNICIFENT BIG SHOT PHOTO OF DUBROVNIK IN ZAGREBAČKA BANKA'S TIME CAPSULE

The "Time vault" of Zagrebačka banka has gained another memorabilia that will be shown to the public in a 100 years - a magnificent photograph called the Big Shot of Dubrovnik. The photo was handed over to Zagrebačka banka's representatives in Dubrovnik by Don Hudspeth, RIT Croatia's President and Dean. Started in 1987, RIT's Big Shot (https://bigshot.cias.rit.edu/) is a very interesting nighttime photography project that takes place on an annual basis, each time at a different location. Therefore, in 2007 it was time for beautiful Dubrovnik to play its part. It is interesting that all external lighting of the City wall and the Pile stone bridge was provided by multiple hand-held electronic flash units and flashlights operated by 478 people, students, faculty, staff & friends of the University. Alongside the photo, RIT Croatia deposited its business mission, vision and list of values as well.

"We have decided to take part in this project and deposit our mission, vision and values to future RIT Croatia generations as a legacy and a direction of our college's development. Furthermore, Dubrovnik is very important to RIT and RIT Croatia; it has been our home for almost 20 years. Therefore, we have also decided to deposit a spectacular photograph of Dubrovnik - with almost 500 people participating in taking the photo. We have challenged the future Dean and employees of RIT Croatia to repeat this project and thus capture the beauty of this magnificent city", said Don Hudspeth.
