RIT Croatia students win third place at Startup Weekend Dubrovnik!

Our students won the third place at Startup Weekend Dubrovnik 2014. Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community of passionate entrepreneurs with over 1800 past events in 120 countries around the world in 2014. At these events different teams form around one of the selected ideas, develop it into a business plan which they later on present to the judges.

Our students Luka Meštrović, Dino Novak, Alojz Paver and Mario Radošević a.k.a. PTV team presented a very interested idea of a personalized television and won third place. We are very proud of our students for this accomplishment and for having such excellent ideas!

The event was organized by City of Dubrovnik Development Agency with a purpose of developing knowledge through practice and its use in products and services development.
