The 4th Dubrovnik Hackathon took place at Hotel Royal Princess in Dubrovnik from April 14-15, organized by DURA Agency, with the support of RIT Croatia and University of Dubrovnik.

Six teams participated in this year's Hackathon that lasted for 36 hours.

We have the pleasure of announcing that the team that won were RIT Croatia students from our Zagreb campus (Ana Perić, Matko Piškor, Lehady Sani-Agatha, Matej Gadžo, Boris Fjorović), mentored by professor Andrej Šarić. They had a great idea which was a traffic solution for the city of Dubrovnik using machine learning. They were able to prove that implementing that solution is possible. "I am very proud of them, they listened to all the advice they were given and they were able to win their first Hackathon. All teams did very well and I believe that this was an amazing experience for all of them ", said professor Šarić.

Besides the winning team, there were two more teams that comprised of our students from the Dubrovnik campus, and one of those teams was a mix of alumni and current students.

Congratulations to the winning team and to all participants for showcasing their fantastic and innovative ideas!
