"Tesla & Friends" - a three-day manifestation organized by the Nikola Tesla Association took place from July 9-11, 2016 with the purpose of celebrating the Nikola Tesla Day of Science, Technology and Innovation and the 160th anniversary of his birth.

The manifestation begun on July 9th with the conference "Tesla in Zagreb" where there were lectures and panel discussions on the topic of "Nikola Tesla - scientific role model". On July 10th the manifestation continued with honoring the Nikola Tesla monument in Zagreb followed by celebratory dinner and awards ceremony in Hotel Esplanade. On July 11, the lecture on Nikola Tesla was held by demonstration cabinet of technical museum "Nikola Tesla".

RIT Croatia's renowned professors, dr. Jasminka Samardžija, dr.Iva Čondić Jurkić and dr. Milivoj Marković took part in the event.
