Students learned about how to start their own business

RIT Croatia Eta Sigma Delta Honor Society (ESD) members organized their first event in cooperation with Dubrovnik Regional Agency DURA on Monday, March 27, 2017. More than 40 students attended the presentation on the topic of "Practical Side of Starting Your Own Business (YOB)" held by Ms. Marijana Puljas. Students got to hear valuable information about process and requirements for first time entrepreneurs. Moreover, students got the chance to visit DURA's Idea Factory and Entrepreneurship Corner.

"My opinion is that this event gave a lot of useful information about potentially starting our own business. The information came from a person who has a lot of experience with the process of starting new jobs. She provided us with useful advices so we are better prepared for all challenges with documentation and laws. And most importantly, she pointed out to some common mistakes that people do, so that we can learn from them as well", commented Josipa Buble, junior year student and Director of Marketing and Public Relations for ESD Dubrovnik.
