We are seeking a Program Supervisor for our Deaf/Blind/Hard of Hearing programs. Our Hennepin Adult Foster Care programs provide services to adults with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) or a mental illness diagnosis co-occurring with a chronic medical condition. American Sign Language (ASL) is the primary mode of communication which offers our residents a strong sense of community with other deaf adults and strengthens our support activities in a culturally affirmative environment. We provide an array of individualized services to our residents to help maintain independent living in a community setting.

Hours: Monday-Friday business hours
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Hiring Range: $51,500-$54,000

Main Job Duties:
Facilitates partnerships and nurtures relationships with stakeholders in order to meet the overall health needs of clients
Creating a sense of community and team among staff and clients
Hiring and orienting program staff
Supervising and coaching staff for excellence in quality of services
Helping staff in the development of skills
Coordinating program schedules and meetings
Modeling person-centered care
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with program staff and other program managers

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in behavior science
One year (2,000 hours) of full-time experience in human services
OR
High School Diploma
Four years (8,000 hours) of full-time experience in human services

Preferred Qualifications: Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
One year of prior supervisory experience in the delivery of mental health human services
Experience providing services to people with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI)
