Provide high-level administrative support of academic programs and planning functions. SUPERVISOR: MPS Superintendent FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs administrative duties for the Superintendent, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, and Director of Student Services. Maintains the school administrators’ appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, training, and other events. Conserves school administrators’ time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence. Collect and analyze data and draft letters and documents as needed. Takes and distributes meeting minutes from administrative team meetings. Supervises the school-based administrative assistants. Arrange travel for school administrators. Manage day-to-day operations of the administrative office. Manages administrative school projects and conducts research as needed. Follow up with staff to be sure the projects are completed in a timely manner. Conducts bulk mailing and other correspondence related tasks. Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing data. Maintains student database as well as the staff training database and staff certifications. Monitors relevant operating and capital budgets. Assist in the reconciliation of credit card expenses and reimbursement. Communicate information about any building activities, program needs or requests with ability to apply critical thinking related to priority.
