About PSP: POSITION SUMMARY: Serve as the intake coordinator for all current and new school districts. Maintain positive relationships with the public schools, agencies as well as any outside assessment teams or other stakeholders. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide consultation services to school districts, within the Associate Director’s scope of practice and consistent with the job descriptions in the Associate Director’s area(s) of expertise (i.e. Audiology vs. Teacher of the Deaf speciality). Identify other appropriate team members that are needed as consultants on specific cases (e.g., psychologist, behavior specialist, learning disabilities specialist, educators, etc.). As necessary, support school districts in identifying appropriate out-of-district placements for students, taking into account the individual students’ needs. Maintain accurate billing records and work with the Accounting Department to bill school districts in a timely manner. Maintain accurate program statistic records (year-to-year and longitudinal records). Continue to grow Public School Partnerships through marketing and advertising, including for new staff as needed, with the assistance of direct supervisor and the Advancement team. Requirements | Minimum of a master's degree in area of specialization (deaf education, audiology, or speech-language pathology) and appropriate certification/licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and/or Board of Registration of Speech-Language Pathology, and Audiology. This position is open until filled. |
