Job Description:
The Vice President of Talent and Culture is a people-friendly, go-getter,
with strategic, forward-thinking superpowers. This role will operate at all
levels of the organization to recruit, engage and retain a quality workforce
and drive organizational effectiveness, with the focus of developing human
capital strategies and aligning resources across the organization for both
current and future needs. This role requires thorough knowledge of all areas
of Human Resources, developing strategies and implementing best practices,
particularly within a diverse organization comprised of deaf and hard of
hearing employees. This position oversees the Talent and Culture Team.



Requirements:
Knowledge of deaf culture and an understanding of how to integrate deaf and
hearing cultures within a multilingual environment.
Superior expressive and written communication skills
The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches,
policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business
objectives, productivity and development. Passion for innovative solutions
and process improvement.
A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the
"pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement. Be
comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your
sleeves."
Excellent leadership and organizational influencing skills
Ability to navigate within a rapid and complex changing work environment.
Strong working knowledge of a variety of Office and HR software applications
and platforms
Success in creating and driving effective employee relations, retention and
reward programs.
A strong solutions focus and comfortable working in an environment which
demands on time deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and
drive appropriate solutions.
