Service Coordinator (SC)

Reports To
The SC will report to the Executive Team.

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for ASL/E Interpreter onboarding. Preparing source data for computer entry by gathering accurate and complete information from stakeholders. Building strong internal/external customer relationships. Assisting the executive team with a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties

• Execute and maintain the interpreter onboarding process, including reviewing paperwork for accuracy and completeness, filing where appropriate, assisting interpreters with profile completion and updates, verifying certification, pertinent contact information and coverage ability.
• Build ASL/E interpreting service requests from local and national customers in the system, assigning interpreters at the direction of the CEO, ensuring requests are following company policy and procedures.
• Ensure courteous, friendly communication in telephone & email communications with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the executive team to ensure top quality and seamless experiences for customers, interpreters, and Deaf clients.
• Manage/execute the delivery and receipt of service confirmation documents to customers where necessary with efficiency and timeliness.
• Coordinate and confirm receipt of new ASL-English interpreter service requests ensuring top quality data is entered in the system.
• Collaborate with the Director of Business Administration to ensure compliance with billing processes and required materials.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and partnerships with the Deaf/Sign Language and ASL/E Interpreter communities.

Logistics

• This position is on-site for the first 6 months. Hybrid/WFH options are available after this time.
• Hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30AM – 5:30PM with 1 lunch hour to be taken some time between 11:30AM and 1:30PM. Any variance to these hours must be approved via email.
• 80 Hours of PTO accrued annually can be used in compliance with company policies outlined in the employee policy & procedures manual. Includes access to health, dental, vision and disability benefits. Company contributes $100 monthly towards medical benefits which is either used or forfeited.
