Equipment and Locker Rentals

Recreation equipment and special packages are available to students, faculty, staff, and community members to rent for RIT events and personal events year-round.

Equipment Loan-Out

Various types of equipment (towels, locks, basketballs, racquets, etc.) can be loaned out from the SLC Equipment Cage.

A valid RIT ID is required when borrowing and returning equipment.
Only one towel per person. You may exchange a soiled towel for a clean one.
Report any bloody towels to the Cage Attendant.
RIT sponsored guests may borrow equipment under their sponsor’s account.
Equipment loaned out must be returned the same day.
Fees will apply to any damaged, lost or late items.
Building access will be denied to anyone who owes a late fee, replacement fee or overdue equipment.

If you are interested in reserving an equipment package, complete the Equipment Reservation Request Form.

Day-Use Lockers

Tall lockers are for day-to-day use only. Locks are available for loan-out at the Equipment Cage with your RIT ID. Locks found on tall lockers at the end of the day will be cut and the contents within will be removed. Items removed from a tall locker will be donate after 30 days if left unclaimed.

Locker Rentals

Half-size locker rentals are available in the Student Life Center to store your personal belongings while you use the recreation facilities. Half-lockers may be rented through the SLC Main Office. Any items found after a rental expires will be removed and donated to charity after 30 days if left unclaimed.

Rentals can be purchased at the Student Life Center Main Office. Members can renew locker rentals via the member portal any time within 30 days of your locker rental expiration date.
