Elizabeth Murray (left), one of the most highly regarded artists from the world of painting, offers feedback to RIT art student Lila Mandzyk. Murray recently took part in a full day on activities on campus, including a tour of the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences studios and a presentation to students, faculty and staff. -

David Cohen, center, hospitality and service management '84, talks with students following his presentation on "Crisis Management in the Hotel Industry" on Jan. 14. Cohen, resident manager of the New York Marriott Marquis in Manhattan, shared his experiences coordinating security of Marriott properties in the New York City area after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Cohen's talk was presented by RIT's Hospitality Alumni Society. -

RIT mechanical engineering student Dan Holt places weights on a link during the ASME student section's impromptu weakest link contest, Friday, Jan. 18. Students designed links out of a variety of materials from duct tape, string and plastic tubing to pipe cleaners, plastic wrap and twizzlers. -
