CSD Learns is a grant-based program that produces educational materials and resources in ASL for learning in order to advance deaf and hard of hearing people’s quality of life at the individual and community level. CSD Learns has created opportunities for K-12 educators and students by bringing STEM education and financial literacy into their classrooms through partnerships with General Motors and Wells Fargo Foundation. Similar opportunities were generated for adult learning in career preparation courses for state agencies. Through our continued partnerships with state and government agencies and corporations, we are seeing an increased demand for employment preparation courses as a result of the growing success of the mentorship model.
